Urban Decay Photography

I started a project at uni all about urban decay, we had to create our own artist book and choose what media we wanted to use. The book had to show a journey so i walked down an old abandoned walk way and took some photographs with my camera.

 

Whitby, Photography

I went to whitby not long ago and took my camera with me, i got some good photos of the seaside and some really nice landscape shots. I took the images into photoshop and played about with their contrast and colour saturation, i really like them, they have an old feel to them.

Doodles

A couple of doodles i did when i was bored, there in the same style and i just used a black marker.

Mixed Media

I took one of my photographs of the transporter bridge then used different medias to re create the image, some of the materials i used where string, newspaper and also sewing in to the image using the zigzag stitch on the sewing machine. I added the temenos into the image and hand stitched into the paper with black cotton.

Flower Paintings

I also like to paint when i have the time and a break from my uni work. Heres some of my flower paintings, ive used acrylic paint for both of them and really like how they've turned out.
